Yvonne Ambrose Rountree, 93, of Port Wentworth passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Amedisys Hospice.
A native of Oak Park Georgia, Emanuel County, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Ambrose and the late Isabelle Kirby Ambrose.
She was a graduate of Oak Park High School and retired from the Marriott Savannah Airport where she was the Restaurant Supervisor.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Maxwell Jackson Rountree.
Survivors include her children, Arthur "Terry" Williamson, Sue Anne Clark Burette, L. Beth Tyree, Barbara Lynn Williamson, several grandchild, great grandchildren, other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
