Yvonne Morris Blalock, 85, of Garden City passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Hospice Savannah.
She was the daughter of the late Everrett and Gladys Harden Morris. Yvonne was born and raised in Toombs County.
Yvonne was a graduate of Draughons Business College with a degree in Accounting. After graduating she went to work for Union Camp Corporation and was employed until her retirement 35 years later. She was a member of First Baptist Church Garden City, active at the Garden City Senior Center, and loved her family and working in her yard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Kimberly Blalock Brown, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years Leland D. Blalock, granddaughter, April Varn Walker (Brian), 2 great grandchildren, Jackson and Stella Walker, a sister, Patricia “Pat” Snyder, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2022 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Graveside Services: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Larry Speir officiating.
