Wynelle Page Ward, 88, of Savannah, died Sunday at Hospice Savannah.
She was born in Lauren's County, Ga., and moved to Savannah in the late 1950's from Dublin, Ga.
She was a Registered Nurse at Coleman Hospital in Dublin, GA and worked for the Chatham County Humane Society for over 40 years.
She was a member of Silk Hope Baptist Church, where she served as a volunteer for the Clothes Closet.
She was everybody's "Granny".

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertic Theron Ward Sr., five brothers, A.J. Page, George W. Page, Marvin M. Page, James S. Page, John F. Page, Jr.,  she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Minnie L. Page Wynn, and Mary L. Page Covington.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Betsy Page Davis Collins, (Kenneth), and Nancy Ward Alder(late Billy Alder) and 1 step-son, Bertic Theron Ward, Jr.;  6 grandchildren, Tammy Davis Smith (Eddie), Tonya Davis King (Kenneth), Kenneth Byron Davis (Kimberly), Tina Alder Snell (Lee), Angela Alder Sanderson (Kelly), Billy Allen Alder (Bobbie); 11 great grandchildren, Joseph, Joshua, Lee II, Meghan, Kaitlyn (Allen), Kayla (Reilly), Dustin, Christian, Jesse, Nicholas, Madelyn; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Kaiden and Avery.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.

Funeral Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Silk Hope Baptist Church, with Rev. Johnathan Phillips officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest West Cemetery.
