Savannah

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of W. Lee Goodwin, a cherished resident of Savannah, GA. Lee was born on February 19, 1951, in Indiana, and left us peacefully on January 12, 2025.

Lee was a loving and caring mother, a cherished friend, and a devoted sister. Her nurturing spirit enriched the lives of all who knew her, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. Lee particularly treasured spending quality time with her friends and their families, finding joy in the company of loved ones.

Lee found fulfillment in her work as a Parts Custodian with Lockheed Martin, where she dedicated many years of service.

She proudly served in the United States Navy, demonstrating a commitment to her country that extended beyond her military service.

Her heart was always in Spring, a season she cherished, especially during the vibrant celebrations of St. Patrick's Day. A true history buff, Lee had a particular interest in Civil War history, spending countless hours exploring and uncovering the past.

She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Alyssa Goodwin; her sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Donald Solebee; her brother and sister-in-law, Morton and Teresa Radford; her stepmother, Osha Radford; and her nieces, Alisha and Angela.
