Willie David Wiggins, 83, of Savannah, died, Sunday, June 5, 2016, in Savannah.
He was born in Bulloch County and lived most of his life in Savannah. He was a graduate of Commercial High, Class of 1951.
Willie served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Union Camp after 46 years of service. He was a member of Robert McIntyre United Methodist Church and was attending Coastal Cathedral Church of God.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jot and Ola Wiggins.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Carol Wiggins; daughters, Sharon Wiggins and Susan Wiggins; granddaughter, Summer Pawloski; great-grandson, Bruce Saunders; three brothers, James Wiggins and Larry Wiggins of Savannah and Bobby Wiggins of Jacksonville, FL; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah.
Service: 1:00p.m., Thursday, June 9 in the Chapel of Baker McCullough Funeral Home, conducted by the Reverend Alton Carter.
Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
