William "Bill" Martin Morgan Sr.

William "Bill" Martin Morgan Sr, 72, of Garden City, Georgia died peacefully Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at home.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Patricia Morgan, sister Kathy Yeomans, and his wife of 35 years Elaine Morgan.

He was born in Buffalo, NY and raised in Savannah, Georgia. Bill was a graduate of Groves High School. He retired from the Savannah Sugar Refinery. He was a Veteran and served his country in the Georgia Air National Guard and a member of The American Legion. Bill was a HUGE fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, and the Atlanta Falcons.

He is survived by his children, William M. Morgan Jr. (Kim), Charles J. Morgan (Allison), Patricia M. Clifton (Michael), sister Patricia Byrum (Doug), and brother Joseph Morgan III. He was the beloved Grandpa and Papa to nine grandchildren and numerous cousins and family friends.

Visitation will be Friday, January 21, 2022 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home 2794 US Hwy 80 W, Garden City, Georgia 31408.

Funeral will be Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00 am. Pastor Jonathan Phillips will be officiating.

Burial: Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery
