William Yuki Kumagai Spivey, age 26, of Savannah, GA passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023.
William was born on February 12, 1996 in East Stroudsburg, PA and was raised in Savannah. He was a graduate of Savannah Arts Academy where he was an accomplished violinist. He was a member of the Beaufort Symphony Youth Orchestra. William worked as a Forklift Operator with IKEA. He enjoyed music, reading, Pokémon, anime, working on cars, and playing video games.
William is survived by his parents, Kayoko Kumagai Spivey and Chance Spivey; sisters, Mika and Mizuki Spivey; paternal great grandfather, Cliff Collier; maternal grandparents, Kinae and Takuo Kumagai; paternal grandparents, Cindy and Terry Spivey; and aunts, Waka Kasaya, Jessica Crosby, and Jennifer Yager.
The family will be receiving friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.
