William Vandiver

William W.C. Vandiver Jr. - SAVANNAH - William W.C Vandiver Jr., 80, of Savannah, died Thursday, Jan 12, 2017 at Hospice Savannah. He was born Nov. 10, 1936, and was a manager at Hercules Chemical Company, for 44 years. He was a loving husband, adventurist traveler, and loved his garden. He was a member of Ardsley Park Baptist Church, and sang in the Sanctuary Choir.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, William Vandiver,Sr., and Nellie Parham Vandiver., one brother, and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Avus Deloach Vandiver, of Savannah, Ga; numerous nieces and nephews, numerous grand nieces and grand nephews, and numerous great grand nieces, and great grand nephews.

Visitation: Monday, Jan 16, 2017 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel, from 6 - 8 p.m.

Funeral Services: Wednesday 11 am, Jan 18, 2017, in the Chapel of Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel, with Rev. John Tillman and Rev. Buddy Clay, is officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
