William Thomas Mckinney

William Thomas "Bill" McKinney Sr., 78, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital following a brief illness.  He was born in Bud, WV and moved to Savannah in 1967 after serving 10 years in the Navy. He spent the next 26 years working for the Department of the Army providing Air Traffic Control maintenance support at Hunter Army Airfield and Fort Stewart. He was a loving husband and father.
Bill was proceeded in death by his parents Lokey and Vessie McKinney, brother Charles and granddaughter Elizabeth Fern McKinney. He  is survived by his wife of 60 years Jean, brother Byron (Judy), daughter Beth Davis (Randy), son Tommy (Rebecca), and grandchildren Justin Davis (Erika), Matthew Davis (Sonya), Ashley Cowart (Lucas), William (Adrianna), Christopher and Jonathan McKinney and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 13, from 6:00 - 8:00PM and Funeral Services September 14 at 11:00AM at Baker McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service internment will be at Hillcrest Abbey East.
