William J. Sutherland

William "Bill" J. Sutherland, 84, passed away on April 27, 2019, surrounded by loving family. Bill served in the United States Army and was a graduate of Mississippi State University. Bill retired from IBM as a salesman for 32 years. He was also a member of Southside Baptist. Bill's passion was for hunting and his hunting dogs. He was a member of Clyo Hunting Club. He also loved to fish and play golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Artie Sutherland of Jackson Mississippi. He was also preceded by his 2 sisters Nancy K. Girod and Douglass Sutherland both of Jackson Mississippi.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janice Sutherland; two daughters,Tara E. Curran (Brian) and Alison S. Fountain and a son John J. Sutherland. He was also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held on May 1, 2019 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Baker McCullough Funeral Home ( Hubert C Baker Chapel). There will be a Memorial Gathering 1 hour prior to the service.
