William Joseph Roy Sr

William Joseph Roy Sr, 73, of Rincon Georgia passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, he was the son of the late Abra Joseph Roy and the late Christine Vandiver Roy.
William was a 1968 graduate of Robert W. Groves High School. He served in the US Air National Guard of Georgia and was honorable discharged after six years of service. He was retired from Georgia Pacific after 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bonnie Lynn Will Roy.
Survivors include his sons, William Roy Jr, Michael Roy, Jonathan (Kimberly) Roy; nine grandchildren, Daniel (Lily), Billy, Nathan (Hanna), Victoria, Rebecka, Justin, Carson, Cameron, and Catherine; sisters, Linda Schrum, Susan (Alvin) Walton; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends including his best friend, Lee Lariscey.
Visitation: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, May 8, 2023 at the Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Dean Forest Baptist Church with Rev. Guy Boyd, Rev. Bryan Parrish and Rev. Christian Walton officiating.
