William H. Lucas, Jr., 88, of Pooler passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, he was the oldest son of the late William H. Lucas, Sr. and the late Georgia Lee Syfrett Lucas.He was a graduate of Savannah High School and was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. William was retired from Aramark Company where he worked as a Maintenance Mechanic.
Survivors include his daughter, Kay Rought; son and daughter-in-law, Mark Kit and Linda Lucas; brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Brenda Lucas; sister and brother-in-law, Brinda and Donald Rogers; 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018 at the Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 4th, 2018 at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
