Mark Flatman, born in Frankfort Germany and a longtime resident of Savannah, has passed away March 26th, 2020 at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Yvette, the love of his life.
With a keen intelligence and a rare breadth of interests, Mark loved the poet Charles Bukowski. From him, he kept this mantra in particular "If you are going to try, go all the way."
He had established a successful home business, was highly knowledgeable about antiques and American memorabilia and was a specialist of High School Yearbooks.
A highly skilled technician, Mark was often found helping friends and neighbors with repairs and home improvements.
He had a heart of gold and was the kind of man who miraculously appeared when you needed him most. He was a gentleman in the purest of forms. We will always cherish the person he was.
Contributions in the memory of Mark can be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children (
