William Randolph Davis

William Randolph Davis, age 87, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023.
Bill was born and raised in Lenior County North Carolina on a tobacco farm. When he turned eighteen, he joined the United States Air Force. He enjoyed traveling and living in many different states. He later returned to North Carolina were he volunteered his time working as a pro bono lawyer focusing on assisting with child service cases. He later retired from Beaufort Naval Hospital where he worked in Civil Services.
Bill was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the American Legion, the Disabled Veterans Association, and Paralyzed Veterans Association.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Delsie Carlene Calhoun; and numerous brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his three sons, Mike Davis (Terri), Jay Davis (Meriam), Ken Davis (Athena); twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Charlie.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31406.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Greenwich Cemetery, 330 Greenwich Road, Savannah, Georgia 31404.
