William Henry Fullard

William "Bill" Henry Fullard, 78, of Pooler died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at his home in Pooler, GA. He leaves behind Joan Hawkins Fullard his best friend of 33 years with whom he just recently celebrated 24 years of marriage. He also leaves behind his sons Tierell Fullard and Steven Hawkins, his daughters Ayanna Hawkins and Alicia George, and host of granddaughters and grandsons.

Bill was born in South Carolina on December 15, 1940. He migrated to New York during his early adult years. He worked at Bloomingdales for 30 years in management prior to retiring and settling in Chatham County GA in 2006.

He was a loving companion who doted on his wife, earning the respect and admiration of many in his community. He loved politics, reading, coffee, traveling and debating about world issues. Bill was a stubborn but fair man! He will be greatly missed by all those who came in contact with him.

His memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
