A great man, father and husband, Ansley was a loving husband to Juanita “Gloria” Phillips for 59 years, a devoted father to his 3 children and a proud grandfather of his 2 grandchildren. He was always there for all of his family with support, wise guidance and helpful direction. Ansley was an avid sports fan especially for Georgia Tech athletics. He was also a music enthusiast with a vast knowledge of classic country music and early rock-n-roll. Ansley was a retired Vietnam veteran proudly serving in the U.S. Army for 21 years.
Ansley is survived by daughters Karen Phillips and Nena Phillips Tillman and son Gary Phillips and granddaughters Kaitlin Ansley Phillips and Sydney Ansley Tillman.
Ansley will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery in a private family service.
