Wendy D. Strickland went to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, on November 8, 2017. She was born on July 22, 1962.
Wendy was predeceased by her father and mother, Marvin and Eleanor DeBerry; father and mother-in-law, Sid and Roselyn Strickland; brothers, Randy and LeRoy DeBerry; brothers-in-law, Steven Strickland and David Strickland; grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Wendy is survived by her husband of 30 years, Kevin Strickland; a son, Jacob Strickland; one sister, Cheryl Fussell and her husband, Mike; two brothers, Sandy DeBerry and his wife, Nancy and Ray DeBerry and his wife, Sandy; several nieces and nephews; and a large extended family and dear friends.
Wendy was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. She was an avid painter of homes. She was always in her kitchen cooking for her family and friends. Wendy also put others first over herself, and was willing to help in any way that she could. She loved reading the Bible and being involved in her church.
A memorial service will be held at Lake Mayer Church of Christ at 7pm, on Friday, November 10, 2017 with the Reverend Gene Clay officiating.
