Warren Russell Mcbryde, Jr.

Warren "Russell" McBryde, Jr., of Port Wentworth, passed away on June 14, 2023.

Russell was born in Savannah, Georgia on November 3, 1942 to the late Warren Russell McBryde, Sr. and Pauline Mitchell McBryde. He was an avid hunter and saltwater fisherman who loved annual trips to the Florida Keys and enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves baseball. He also enjoyed watching University of Georgia football.

Russell is survived by significant other, Carol Kennon; sons, Randy (Patsy) McBryde and Billy (Elizabeth) McBryde; Carol's daughter, Erin (Mark) Pearce; grandchildren, Warren (Dani) McBryde, Alyssa (Jeremiah) Still, BJ (Ashby) Rush, Erica (James) Zabawa, Marie (Wesley) White, Cameron Pearce and Matthew Pearce; great grandchildren, Hayden Still, Raleigh Still, Sawyer Still, Grace Long, Steven and Dante Zabawa, Hunter White, Asher Rush and Banks Rush; and brother, Donald (Kay) McBryde.

He was preceded in death by sister, Pat McBryde Copeland.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, June 17, 11am, in the chapel of Baker McCullough Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Harrelson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
