Walter (Bobby) White

Walter G. (Bobby White), 83, of Savannah, GA. passed away Sunday March 19, 2017 at Memorial Hospital.
A longtime resident of Savannah, he was a member of Old Fellowship Baptist Church of Brooklet, GA. He retired from CSX Railroad as a car inspector with 48 years of service. Also retired from the 165th Air National with 36 years of service. He was also a school bus driver for Calvary Day School for 25 years. Preceded in death by his father, Gordon White and Mother, Edna Mae (Hayes) White; brother, Charles Eugene White and Joe T. White. He is survived by his wife
of 60 years, Margaret White; daughters, Karen Denise Loper (George) and Janna Michelle (Jeff) Bush; two granddaughters, Jessica (Rob) Skarda of New York and Victoria (mat) Bryarly; two granddaughters, Maggie Bryarly and Anna Skarda and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11 - 12 pm Wednesday March 22, 2017 at Old Fellowship Baptist Church, Brooklet, GA. with the funeral service to follow at 12 pm. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice
