Wadford "Wally" Brinson Grooms Fulton, 101 , died Dec 14, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Ga.
She was born in Mitchell County, Ga, and she was preceded in death by McKeeva Grooms (Husband), and James Fulton, (Husband), stepdaughters, Juanita Grooms Burke and Eleanor Grooms Hord.
Survived by her son Troy Grooms and his wife Annette, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Supreme Council, Order of the Amaranth, Inc., and Savannah Primitive Baptist Church.
Her favorite pastime was gospel singing. In the early 1950's, she sang alto in an all female gospel quartet, the Rangettes. She was also a member of the Chatham County Singing Association.
As long as she was able she was a member of the Adult Choir at the Savannah Primitive Baptist Church.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.
Funeral Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Elder Ron Yeakle, officiating.
Interment will follow in Lanes Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, at Stilson, Ga.
Remembrances: Savannah Primitive Baptist Church.
