Vonnie Cunningham passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at her home in Pooler, Georgia after a short illness. She was born July 29th, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Maude Tate Hall and the late James Hall.
Vonnie retired from New York State Electric and Gas after 26 years of service. NYSEG is where she met and fell in love with Moses, and they married in 1988. After retiring, she and Moe moved to Savannah, Georgia in 2006. She loved entertaining, traveling, playing golf and just enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 30 years, Moses D. Cunningham, II of Pooler, Georgia; 3 daughters, Julie Lee, Michele Lee, Kathryn Brown; son, James Lee; grandson, Justin Brown; her twin sister Onnise Walker; many cousins, other family and many, many wonderful friends.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, August 19th, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and Monday August 20th from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
