Virginia Rodewolt Lamb

After a hard fought battle in the hospital for 3 months, Virginia Rodewolt Lamb, 66, succumbed to her illnesses on September 14, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Savannah and quick to share her memories of growing up on the Ogeechee River with her family. She was a graduate of St. Vincent's Academy and enjoyed a variety of jobs around the area. Her most loved profession was Long Haul Trucking where she was able to travel and experience the beauty of America. She relished in the opportunity to share her stories about those travels. She is preceded in death by her parents Andrew and LaVonne Rodewolt, her brothers Joseph and Harry Rodewolt and her son David Lamb. She is survived by her brother William A. Rodewolt and his fiancé Mischa Turner, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will welcome friends for a visitation on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 5-7 at the Bonaventure Chapel of Baker McCullough Funeral Home and a graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 11:00.
