Virginia Maria Sherman, 93, of Savannah, died Sunday, November 19th at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born on July 5, 1924 in New York City, a daughter of the late Edward and Edith Falk Pottle.
Mrs. Sherman and her husband moved to Savannah from New York City in 1982 after his retirement.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a volunteer reader for 12 years with the Georgia Radio Reading Service.
She is survived by her daughter, Claire L. Sherman of Florida.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday at Hillcrest Abbey - West, Dean Forest Road, Savannah.
