Verna "Gussie" Haugan Lewis passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 at the age of 93. She was born January 26, 1929 in South Dakota.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Goodwin (Tim); son, Carl Lewis (Beth); two grandsons, Brett Goodwin, and Jacob Goodwin (Blaine); and four great-grandchildren, Saylor, Emery, Townes, and Charlie Goodwin.
Gussie was an avid golfer and bowler in her prime, and a member of Lutheran Church of the Ascension.
A private memorial service will be planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Remembrance of Verna "Gussie" Lewis to Hospice Savannah.
