Troy Russell Hamrick, 19, of Port Wentworth died Wednesday June 16, 2021 at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, South Carolina, on this day Troy gained his wings.
He was such a sweet young man and a nurturer. I believe in my heart of hearts that the two most special people to him was his Mother (Lori Elkins) and his grandmother (Susan Lowery) he referred to them as his two moms.
Troy was fun loving and a little teaser, his uncle Kevin's pet name for him was Sugar Bear (that was their little thing) and to most of us...well we called him Troy Boy.
I know he's with our Father in Heaven and one day we will all be reunited but until then we will greatly miss those precious bear hugs. We love and miss you Troy!
Troy leaves behind his loving mother, Lori Lowery Elkins (Stanley), sister, Tobi Lowery (Anthony), brothers, Travis and Cody, a niece, Ariel Wynn, nephew, Makih Wynn, his biological father, Jack Russell Hamrick, grandmother, Susan Lowery, grandfather, Tommy Lowery, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday June 26, 2021 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
