Travis "Tod" Henry Crockett, age 64, of Guyton, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 19th, 2024. He was born on Saturday, May 30th, 1959, in Franklin, GA to the late James Brannan Crockett II and the late Helen Mae Crockett.
Tod was a loving husband of 38 years to Carolita “Carol” Reagan Crockett. He was a dedicated father to Clifford R. Huggins (Jordan), Michael Huggins (Sheri), and Rebecca Shaffer (Scott). Tod was a cherished grandfather to Jonathon, Storm, Tiffany, Joshua, Candice, the late Adam Daughtry, and a beloved great-grandfather to Kailey, Skyler, Jonathon, Jr., Mikayla, Tristan, Krista. Kolt, Rhett, Evelyn, Dante and Alice. He is also survived by his siblings, James "Jim" B. Crockett (Priscilla), David Crockett, Teresa "Tracy" Miles (Derrick), Cynthia “Cindy” Drown (Charlie), his fur babies, Jasmine, Gracie, and Gabby, several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
At the early age of nine, with the passing of his father, he demonstrated his enduring love for his family. He loved his mother, his sisters and brothers, and was always at family events and there for them and their future families. In his later teen years, he often joined his mother and friends knocking down a few bowling pins and an occasional beer, both of which he enjoyed. When you think of the late '70s generation and fun times, you can easily imagine Tod with a smile on his face. From coaching little league baseball, to sharing computer skills with kids, to helping children with the loss of their dearest pets, he was always there for them all.
Tod worked as a Senior EDI Analyst at IG Designs Group Americas, Inc. He was a dedicated Georgia Bulldogs fan and enjoyed going on cruises. Tod was also a member of the Wednesday Night Mixed Bowling League at Frames and Games.
