Tracy Leigh Mcdonough

Tracy Leigh McDonough, age 54, of Savannah, Georgia passed away unexpectedly at home Monday, January 15, 2024.

Tracy was born in Savannah, Georgia on November 24,1969 to the parents of Allen Jay Bond and Dale Durrence Bond. Tracy attended Herschel V. Jenkins High School class of 1988. Tracy’s most recent employment was at Spanky’s Southside. Tracy enjoyed her employment there and her Spanky’s family immensely.

Tracy was an amazing person. She had a one-of-a-kind personality that set her apart from anyone that you would ever meet. She loved her family and spending time with them. It was a blessing to live within walking distance of her mother and sister. They enjoyed many late nights together and creating memories that will last forever.

Tracy is preceded in death by her father, Allen Jay Bond (Malden, MO); her maternal grandparents John F. Durrence and Jean Miller Durrence.

Tracy is survived by her daughter, Chelbi Fountain; her life partner, Brian Sapp; her mother, Dale Durrence Bond; her two sisters, Michele Bond Smith (Bubba) and Jean Bond; her niece, Kiera Smith and her two nephews Chance Floyd and Caleb Smith.

A memorial service will be held at Montgomery Athletic Association located at 10155 Ferguson Avenue, Savannah, Georgia 31406 starting at 4 pm on February 4th, 2024. Chelbi is requesting pictures, mementos and stories to be shared in Tracy’s honor.
