Tracy Lewis Gillis

Tracy Lewis Gillis, 62, of Savannah, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, he was the son of Robert Lewis "Bob" Gillis and the late Nancy Smiley Gillis.
He was a tradesman who worked as a roofer for many years before becoming a painter until his retirement.
Tracy was a loving son, brother and father. He enjoyed watching his favorite movies and TV shows any time that he could. His greatest love was the outdoors and spending time in nature. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who greatly enjoyed deer hunting with dogs.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Gillis.
Survivors include sons, Zachary Gillis and Dezmond Hill; grandson, Bryce Gillis; father, Robert Lewis " Bob" Gillis (Ann); sister, Dini Whigham (Wayne); nieces and nephews, Joshua Duston Brooker, Jennifer B. Parrish and Amber Warman (Sam); a number of great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 1pm at Life Springs Worship Center 1105 US-80, Bloomingdale, GA 31302.
