Tony Bernard Jackson, Sr., 50, of Hinesville, Georgia passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
A native of Savannah, Georgia, he was the son of late James C. Jackson and Ora Lee Jackson.
Tony was a United States Marine Corps Veteran, having served for 6 years.
He was a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Masters in Music Education, he was a music educator for more that 20 years and most recently was the Band Director at Snelson- Golden Middle School in Hinesville, Georgia. He loved music and played 14 different instruments.
He was a member of Compassion Christian Church - Henderson Campus.
Survivors includes his wife, Kelli Andrea Jackson, children, Tony B. Jackson, II, Trenton James Elias Jackson, Alicia McCarren (Lawrence), Donnell Kelly, Andrea Kelly, 3 grandchildren, mother, Ora Lee Jackson, sister, Sheryl Thomas (Elmer), other family and friends.
A gathering will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021.
