Tommy Wayne Thomas, 65, of Port Wentworth, Ga., died Tuesday, Oct 11, 2016 at Hospice Savannah.
He was born in Laurens County, Ga., and was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas and Lois Jackson Thomas, and his two brothers, Rev. Trenith Thomas, and Tony Thomas.
He was a graduate of Robert W. Groves High School, Class of 1969, and was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air National Guard, 165th Wing.
He was a Baptist, and was retired from the City of Port Wentworth, where he served as the Director Of Public Works.
He is survived by his wife, Ronda Collins Thomas, of Port Wentworth, Ga; a brother, Timothy William Thomas, of Garden City, Ga., one niece and 4 nephews.
Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Garden City Chapel.
Graveside Services: 11 a.m. Friday in Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
