Tommy Colquitte Altman, Sr.

July 28, 1957 — September 24, 2021

Tommy C. Altman, Sr., 64, of Garden City passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

A native of Savannah, he was the son of the late John Walker Altman and Frances Elizabeth Jones.

Tommy was a proud member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and had worked at the Georgia Ports Authority for 45 years. He was a family man, his pride and joy was his family.

He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Delores Jannette Altman Brown..

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Partain Altman, children, Tommy C. Altman, Jr. (Valerie), Brandy Glisson (Dustin), Molly Hammons (Michael), John Altman (Jessalyn), his mother, Frances Jones McKeever, grandchildren, Khelly, Elizabeth, Bradley, Brandon, Brent, Lindsay, Asher, Faith and Dalton, brother, John Walker Altman, Jr. (Kerri), several nieces, nephews, his horse, Shorty and dog, Ozzy, and other family.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Woodlawn Baptist Church. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gary Johnson officiating, with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
