Timothy J. Land,

Timothy John Land, Sr., was born on March 16, 1951 in England. He went to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the age of 64.
He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Karen Land. Together they raised seven children, Barbara Land (Brian and Tyler), Paul Land (Melissa, Nathaniel, and Jacob), Leslie Williams, Melissa Scharf, Megan Land (William), Kelsey Land-Folks (Nathan and Landon) and Timothy "T.J." Land, Jr. (Nicole).
Tim was well known around the community for his love for fishing. After over 25 years of working in Navy shipyards, he recently returned to his passion of building and refurbishing rods and reels for local captains and fishermen. Tim is loved by countless young people in the community as well. His home was always open for young people to enjoy a home cooked meal and entertainment in the form of his jokes. Tim will be dearly missed.
A celebration of his life will be held at Southside Assembly of God, 401 Tebet Ave. Savannah, GA 31406 on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 3:00pm.
