Tia Jones Fountain, 50, of Savannah passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Memorial Health University Medical Center after suffering a long illness.
Tia was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy (Carolyn) Lewis Jones; her father, Charles Isaac Jones; and grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Virgil M. Jones and Mr. & Mrs. James A. Lewis.
She is survived by her brother, Timothy C. Jones; niece, Mallory Brooke Jones; uncles, William C. and Jack Jones; numerous aunts and cousins.
Per Tia's request, she wanted to give a special Thanks You to her Mama & Daddy for always being there for her, and to her uncle, William (Billy) Jones, her cousin, Carl Lewis, and friend, Chuck Piebes for all of their support.
There will be a graveside ceremony 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Greenwich Cemetery.
