Thomas Mack Howard

Thomas "Tom" M. Howard, 88, of Guyton, Georgia passed away Monday, March 16, 2020.
A native of Sylvania, Georgia, he was the son of the late Ernest and Effie Counts Howard. Tom was retired from the City of Savannah where he worked in the Water Department as a Inside Water Pump Operator. He was a member of Dean Forest Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by parents, his wife of 67 1/2 years, Evenlyn "Jolly" Howard and a sister, Mildred Irene Degree.
Survivors include his children, Angie Evans, Bubba Howard, Belinda Rainey, Chris Howard, Richard Howard, Timmy Howard, Preston Howard, 18 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Dean Forest Baptist Church with Rev. Guy Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
