Thomas E. Bashlor, Sr., 87, of Savannah passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Riverview Health and Rehab.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia; Thomas was born July 24, 1930 to the late Earl W. Bashlor, Sr. and Leonead Grovenstein Bashlor.
He lived in Michigan for more than 23 years before returning to Savannah. He was retired from General Motors after 18 years of service and following retirement he became a Handyman that could do it all.
Thomas was a Pentecostal and loved Jesus very much. He lived his life to share Jesus to everyone he would come in contact with.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tamala Kirby and a son, Timothy Bashlor.
Survivors include his children, Christine Austin (Terry), Thomas "Tommy" Bashlor, Jr. (Judy), Janet O'Hara, Alesia Bashlor; and also Ricky, Earl and Joe Bashlor; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will gather at the Funeral Home, Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Services will begin at 2:00 pm; followed by burial at Daniel Siding Baptist Church Cemetery.
