Terry Eugene Langford

Terry Eugene Langford, 69, of Pooler GA passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

A native of Savannah Georgia, he was the son of the late Marion ‘Cup’ DeLesslyn Langford and the late Doris Wong Langford.

Terry was raised in Garden City where he was a long time member of Garden City United Methodist Church and currently and played recreation sports. He excelled in Baseball, Football and Bowling. Terry was a 1972 graduate of Robert W. Groves High School; he was an all- city player in Football and Baseball and was drafted by the Red Sox for pitching, but he also excelled in playing shortstop and 2nd base. Terry was involved in playing men's Baseball and Softball up until age 60. He also loved crabbing and fishing.

He retired from Bell South and was a co-owner of Stanford Connections.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Langford, children, Shelley (Micah Edwards), Ashley, and Cup Langford (Alexis), grandchildren, Morgan Stone (Layton), Luke Edwards, Catherine and Julia Wilson, great grandson, Liam Stone, brothers Skeeter (Vicky), Larry (Janet), Mickey Langford (Ann), and sister, Lynn Langford Covenah. In addition, the mother of his two daughters, Sharon Moseley Hohenstein, close family friend, Sandi Ambrose, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A gathering for family and friends will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with services beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
