Tawona was born on June 12th 1980 to John Andrews and Doris Andrews Williams. She was educated in the Chatham County school system and went on to receive degrees in Pharmacy tech, Business Administration and she also received a certification as a CNA. Tawona was employed with the Home Depot and Coastal Home Care.
Tawona had a huge heart and was a very loving and warm person. She always had a smile and a humble spirit always ready and eager to help anyone. Her children were her priority and she worked very hard to provide for them. Tawona was always that one person everyone went to for a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, a real good laugh or just to be in her presence. If you had the privilege of knowing her then you know how much she loved to take pictures. She greeted you with a hug and left you with an " I love you". To know her was to love her and she made that easy to do. Tawona believed in Jehovah and made sure that her children studied and attended the meetings regularly.
Tawona was a loving and dedicated mother of four children: Diamond, Ja'Mon, Sha'khia, Fa'Najia. She leaves behind her mother Doris Williams (Gene) and six siblings: Amiri Andrews, Kareem Andrews (Natasha), Shameka Andrews, Jaalmal Andrews (Mia), Natisha Quarterman (Deon), Rashad Andrews (Montranese). She was proceeded in death by her father John Andrews and her grandparents Christine Andrews, Charles and Bella Agnes Washington. She leaves behind to cherish her memories a host of family and friends including 11 nieces and nephews: Nebraska, Tajonique, Pernell, Iyonna, kemani, Senaiya, Jaalmal Jr., Mylia, Clinton Jr., Deon Jr. and Ivory.
Funeral Service will be Saturday June 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Hubert C. Baker Chapel. Interment will follow at Oak Grave Cemetery.
