Sylvia Monteen Mobley Hoover, 73, of Bloomingdale, died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She had worked many years at the Eco-Lodge at Hwy 204 and Pooler. Her son Tony Jackson preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, James "Jimmy" Hoover, Sr.; children, Wanda Mock, Kim Frex (Bill), Timothy Hoover, Jimmy Hoover, Jr.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Alice Faye Bland, Tommie Nell Wise, Mary Stephens; many nieces, nephews, other family and her beloved dogs.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel (formerly Fairhaven Funeral Home), with a funeral service beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel with Rev. Kenny Harrelson officiating.
Burial: Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
