Sybiel Kersey 79 passed away on August 3, 2023, surrounded by cherished memories and a lifetime of love. Born on September 30, 1943, Sybiel led a vibrant and fulfilling life that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Known for her infectious laughter and kind-hearted nature, Sybiel was a ray of sunshine in the lives of those around her. Whether she was cracking a joke or lending a helping hand, she had a way of making everyone feel special and loved.
One of Sybiel's greatest passions was her involvement in the Georgia Bulldog Motorcoach Club. She dedicated countless hours to this organization, bringing joy and camaraderie to all of its members. Her enthusiasm and unwavering commitment were truly inspirational.
Sybiel's zest for life extended to her family as well. She shared a beautiful journey with her husband Jim Kersey, who was always by her side, providing love and support.
She is preceding in death by her loving husband James R Kersey (Jim), children Pat Wilson, Dorothy Lott and Jimmy Kersey along with grandson Jeffrey Beckworth
Sybiel is survived by her children Vincent Howard (Beth), Vickie Callaway (Bobby) , Jamie Graham and Cindy Kersey.
Sybiel is survived by 9 grandchildren George Wilson (Audrey), Richard Moore (Laura), Shawn Wilson (Kristen) , Timmy Wilson, Byron Stauffer (Katrina) , Amy Ciceraro, Dustin Kersey, Robert Callaway (Brittany) , Easton Howard (Kaitlyn) and Taylor Mikell.
She also is survived by 10 great-grandchildren, Stephen Wilson, Brannen Wilson, Caleb Wilson , Bryan Wilson, Lauryn Wilson, Hailey Stauffer, Damien Callaway, Alice Callaway, Emery Ciceraro and Aiden Stauffer.
As we mourn the loss of Sybiel, let us also celebrate the incredible life she lived. She may no longer be with us in person, but her spirit will continue to shine bright in our hearts.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2023 at 1 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406).
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
