Steven Mark Wilson, 55 passed away Monday, February 1 2016, Born in Savannah on May 18, 1960, he attended Chatham County schools.
Mark was a Professional Truck Driver working for several local companies. He loved being on the road starting when he was a small child riding along with his "Pa Pa". He was a huge racing fan and at one time drove several cars in the local Enduro Races at Oglethorpe Speedway. He also enjoyed fishing, camping and being with friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his Father, John W. Wilson and Grandparents, Leslie and Lucile Rushing and Pelzer and Rosa Wilson.
Mark will be sadly missed by his Mother, Marjorie Wilson; Sister and Brother-in-Law, Cindi & Thom Griffith; Aunts and Uncles, Robbie & Miriam Terrell of Savannah, Carol Freyne of Pooler, Bruce & Paula Walling of Tampa, FL, Joe Wilson of Savannah, Pelzer Jr. & Marie Wilson of Glenville, GA and many cousins and friends.
Visitation: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Fairhaven Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Graveside Service: 11 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park East Cemetery with Dr. Wayne Moseley officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Methodist Children's Home, PO Box 2525, Macon, GA 31203.
Services have been entrusted to our Garden City Location.
