Stacey Leigh Bragg passed away April 22, 2023, at the age of 57 after a courageous battle against breast cancer.
Born in Savannah, GA, April 21, 1966, to Betty and Buren Bragg. A devoted mother to Nicole Morris (Adam), Ross Bragg (Kaitlyn) and Ryan Bragg (Megan) and
more importantly, an obnoxious and proud grandmother to four grandsons; Cameron, Aaron, Ben, and Hilson James.
She graduated from Armstrong, where she earned a BS in math education, and went on to teach in Savannah Chatham County for 28 years. Stacey, bright and caring, earned Teacher of
the Year honors twice in the Savannah Chatham County School System where she reached beyond the classroom as a coach, advisor, and role model. An avid traveler, Stacey went on many adventures with her family and friends. Most recently spending a week at Disney, one of her absolute favorite places on earth.
Preceded in death by her father Buren Hilson Bragg and brother-in-law James “Tony” Watson.
Survived by her mother Betty Bragg (BB), sister Kathleen Watson, and brothers Randal Bragg (Marty) and Ronald Bragg.
Visitation: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Friday, April 28, 2023 in the Chapel at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel with Burial to follow at Bonaventure Cemetery.
