Sidney "Merrell" Holland

Sidney "Merrell" Holland, 79, of Garden City, Georgia, went to be with His Lord July 31, 2016. He worked for Union Camp as a faithful worker for 44 years. He also faithfully served the Lord at Woodlawn Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his father Barney Holland and mother Ida Bell Lynn Holland. His two brothers Harry Holland and Dale Holland. His two sisters Ina Mae Holland Shuman and Irma Jean Holland Purvis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Carolyn Carter Holland. His children Connie Cochran(Cary), John Barry Holland(Ann), and Lisa Grier(Freddy). His grandchildren Anthony Holland(Anna), Carter Holland, Cody Cochran(Amanda); Kady Cochran, Joshua Grier, and Taylor Grier. He is survived by brothers Gordon Holland and Ronnie Holland(Mae), and sister Janice Holland Sapp(Jerry); and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday August 2, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Garden City Chapel.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday August 3, 2016 at 11am at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Garden City Chapel.

In Leu of flowers contributions may be made to the Building Fund at the Woodlawn Baptist Church in Garden City, Georgia.
