Shirley Jones Dodd, 82 of Port Wentorth, GA passed away Sunday April 19, 2020 at her home.
Shirley was a member of Port Wentworth First Baptist Church, having sang in the choir. She loved God and her family. She was a former City Council Women of Port Wentworth and retired from Savannah History Museum in 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Louise Martin; husband, Gerald D. Jones; brother, Jimmy Martin; and great- grandson, Bailey Teston.
She is survived by her children, Glen "Pig" Jones (Kathy), Patty Jones, Gay Jones Quinney (Michael), and Joy Jones Kovacevic (Michael); grandchildren, Erica Stahl (Davey), Ryne Huggins (Jessica), Michael Kovacevic, Nathan Kovacevic, David Teston (Claudia), Kim Wells, and Mandy Anderson (Brett); great- grands, Emory Stahl, Eva Stahl, Kallen Huggins, Chelsea Williams, Luke Wells, Leah Wells, Ava Teston, Brady Anderson, and Raegan Anderson, sisters, Margie Butler of Las Vegas, NV and Mary Martin of Nashville, TN, number of nieces and nephews.
Services are private due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A memorial service will be held at a later time.
