Shirley Dannette Douberley, 78, gained her wings on May 20, 2022.
Dannette was born on February 23, 1944 to Christine and Sidney Gordon in Savannah, Ga.
Dannette was an outgoing person who loved life. She was the glue that held her family together. She had a love for people; Her passion was driving her school bus and the children on her bus always held a special place in her heart. She loved being with her family at the river and always enjoyed fishing. She had so much joy in her heart when celebrating Christmas with her grandchildren and great grands. She enjoyed gathering with her siblings and loved them dearly. She truly was an extraordinary woman. She was married to the love of her life for 49 years and never left his side. She raised four boys and taught them how to live life to the fullest.
She is preceded in death by her husband Earl, mother (Christine) and father(Sidney); brother(Andrew).
She is survived by her sons Earl, Ray(Liz), Dale(Terry), Michael(Dannielle); grandchildren Earl(Kira), Heather(Norman), Ashley, Wilford(Lesi), Brandon(Sharon), Tabatha(Ryan), Logan(Dylan); Great Grandchildren Makenzi, Camren, Daven, Brodey, Aubrey, Sj, Sutton, Laykin, Kourtlynn, Carter, Hailey, Piper, Blakeley; Brothers, Sidney(Nancy), Jesse (Kathy ), and sisters Dot, Judy(Richard), Lee(Donald), Brenda(James)
and many nieces and nephews,
She was a wonderful lady with a heart of gold and a strong will to live life to the fullest. She taught her family to remember where they come from and always take care of one another. She leaves behind a family that will honor and cherish her always.
Visitation: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, May 23, 2022 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
Graveside Service: 10:00 am Tuesday May 24, 2022 at Floyd Cemetery, Highway 321 - Floyd Road in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
