Shirley Ann Robinson Benninghoff, 83, of Richmond Hill died Thursday, December 24, 2020 at her home under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc.
Ann was born in New Bern, North Carolina and was a daughter of the late Herbert Wesley Robinson and the late Bela Rice Robinson.
She and her late husband of 63 years, William Allan Benninghoff loved dancing and spending quality time with their family. They were active in the Savannah Shag Club and the Elks Lodge.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Bryan Benninghoff and her son-in-law, Ronnie Best.
Survivors include her daughter, Christi Best of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, a son and daughter-in-law, Allan and Jennifer Benninghoff, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her sister, Linda Gail Hunter, other family and friends.
Services will be held at a later date.
Christi and Allan would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Ann’s home caretakers from Griswald - Jennifer, Nancy, and Shanteia, and especially her daughter-in-law Jennifer for loving her and taking such good care of her in her final months.
