Shennardro “Dro” Bowers of Savannah, GA became our angel on August 8, 2020 after a courageously fought battle with acute pancreatitis. He was 35 years young.
Dro was born on December 12, 1984 in Atlanta, GA. He graduated from Windsor Forest High School in 2003 and from Savannah Technical College in 2012. He proudly earned certificates in electrical systems technology, electrical construction, and residential wiring. He was currently employed by Facility Automation Solutions, where he worked side by side with his electrical mentor, Maurice Howse.
Dro had the most beautiful smile and unconditional love for his wife Marisa (Berry) Bowers and his children Miles, Averi, Caleb and Hazel. He taught us all so much about love, patience, about what was important in life and to slow down and enjoy the moment. Every picture and every memory includes his smile and almost always a child in his arms. He remained smiling through his entire fight. Dro was a true warrior. We will remain grateful for our time and love with this wonderful man. He will be forever missed.
Besides his wife Marisa and their children, Dro is survived by his mother, Gwendolyn Bowers of Savannah, GA, his father Kenneth Watson of Atlanta, GA, his sister Latosha (Kardell) Brooks of McDonough, GA, and his brothers Andre Watson of Atlanta, GA, Kenneth and Dormaquell Bowers of Savannah, GA, and Kentaveus Watson of Altanta, GA. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Dana (Tom) Mleczko of Dunkirk, NY, his brother-in-law Ben (Eric) Berry of Buffalo, NY, and Luke (Deana) Berry of Rochester, NY, along with many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his father-in-law Dave Berry of Dunkirk, NY and grandmother Mamie Bowers whom he loved dearly.
