Sharon K. Gray

Sharon Gray, age 61, of Savannah passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at home.

Mrs. Gray was born on August 28, 1960 in Savannah, the daughter of Lillie Mae and the late JB Kelly. She was a graduate of Richard Arnold High School and continued her formal education at Savannah Technical College where she earned her certification in engineering and drafting. She worked as a commercial driver with Chatham Area Transit and was later the owner of Royal Touch Transport. She was a member of True Love Baptist Church. Sharon enjoyed sewing, arts & crafts, gardening, and baking.

Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald L. Gray; son, Damont Gray; and siblings, Deborah Robinson, Willie James Kelly, Margaret Kelly, and Early Kelly, Jr. She is survived by her children, Taurus Simmons (Mekka), Ahmad Gray (Brittany), Darnell Gray, and Martia Kelly; mother, Lillie Mae Green; siblings, Carolyn Skillern, Larry Copeland, Marie Lowry, Ervin Kelly, Mark Jones, Patricia Wingster, Barbara Henry, and Jerlene Harrison; 15 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Magnolia Memorial Gardens, 5532 Silk Hope Road, Savannah.
