Scott Matthew McCallar, age 44, of Savannah, GA passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023.
Scott was born on July 25, 1978 in Savannah, GA. He was a graduate of Beach High School and began his career working as a Maintenance Technician with Market South Management. For the last 7 years he served as a Lead HVAC Technician with Witt Air Conditioning. Scott loved animals and was a reptile enthusiast, especially turtles.
Scott is survived by his wife, Amber Greene; daughter, Madison Causey; son, Scott Matthew McCallar, Jr.; mother, Betty Driggers Newell (Bob); father, John McCallar (Robin); step brother, Michael Carter; step sisters, Nikki Denton, Chrissy Carter, and Heather Carter; aunt, Margaret Driggers; uncle, Bruce Driggers; uncle & aunt, Jim & Sarah McCallar; aunt & uncle, Cheryl & Jimmy Goethe; and cousins, Alex Driggers, Kathryn Matthews, and Tyler Linton.
The family will be receiving friends from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Savannah.
