Scott Kirby, 54, passed away September 18, 2019 at his residence.
Scott was born in Savannah, GA July 7, 1965 to Jack and Elaine Kuzma Kirby. He grew up and lived most of his life in Savannah. But also lived in Mississippi and Douglasville, Ga. He graduating from Groves High School where he excelled in the marching band.
After graduating high school he received multiple certifications in both the orthotics and prosthetics fields. He was of Christian Faith.
He was employed by Hanger Clinic, where he made orthotics and prosthetics. While working in this capacity, he was fortunate to put his talents to work for the Big Screen on the movie Forrest Gump.
Scott was a lover of music, especially RUSH. He was a talented drummer. One of his hobbies was hand crafting guitars. He liked to golf, bass fish, and grill out with the family. He preferred to be outdoors no matter the activity. He loved his Dawgs and his Braves.
He was predeceased by his parents and a wife, Mandy Kirby; and his beloved dog, Dakota.
Scott leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sons, Stefan Kirby of Savannah, Kyle Kirby (Sarah) of Savannah, and Caleb Kirby of Savannah; his loving girlfriend, Donna Matthews of Savannah; brother, Ernie Kirby (Nancy) of Garden City; sister, Jackie Engelmann (David) of Savannah; a granddaughter, Madison Kirby of Savannah; and his best friends Roxie, his dingo; and Toto, his Yorkie.

A memorial service will be held Sunday September 22 at 10 AM in the chapel of Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel with Rev. Larry Speir officiating.
