Scott Hawkins

September 18, 1961 — May 9, 2022

James Scott Hawkins, 60, of Garden City Georgia passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at his home.

A native of Loganville, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Benjamin Hawkins and the late Joy Hope Griffin Hawkins.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was employed by Garrett Machine Inc. as a machinist.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Justin Robert Riley.

Survivors include his sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen Hollis (Terry) of Loganville, Georgia, Kathy Riley (Robert) of Garden City, Georgia, and Kim Tedder (Steve) of Lilburn, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Serrah "Honeypot" Dodson (Daniel), Caleb "Buddyro" Hollis (Joy), Micah "Kiddo" Hollis (Lauren), Krista "Baby Girl" Peters (Martin), Kalyn "Punkey" Hill (Chase) and Kelly "Kelly Belle" Dantis (Avant); twenty great nieces and nephews who lovingly called him Great Uncle Scott; and many many other loved ones.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Grayson, Georgia.
